Maybe that should be Afternoon Delight, if anyone can remember that popular Starline Vocal band song? Lol. Cars from that time can get a bad wrap, but there were some worthwhile things from those days like GM's radial tuned suspension (RTS) and ESC ignition, and some interesting rides. What notable cars can you think of from those years? :)

My first car was a gold '70 Oldsmobile Cutlass S, and that bitch was awesome! I loved that car, and always will. Too much interior space :lol, kinda' cheesy, but serious power, and for a 17 year old, it was 'da bomb! :number1

Detroit spent $50 million on rotary engine research? I wonder if that is true or just a bluff.

70's cars were interesting, nothing I care to own though. Fuel efficiency is a joke. Gas was cheaper back then. Fuel cap was hidden behind the license plate which flapped down. That was neato. I guess that was later determined to be a safety issue.
