My friend has a 88 integra ecu and it doesnt make his car run as rich as my 89 integra ecu, Is there any differnce between the two?

As long as they are both from manual cars, no. The 88-89 Teg ECU are the same, but very different than the 86-87 TEG. You could have bad injectors or your fuel pressure might be too high. If your injectors are old, they could be worn out and dripping excess fuel into the chambers when they don't need to. This was the problem with my 87 Teg. Once the injectors were replaced, my Teg ran much better (and smelled better too).

Yeah, I heard people sayin that 88 teg ecu made it less rich than 89...its weird?
