just some quick pics i took just to share with you people what my setup is about and give some of you something new to look at.

summer time ill clean up the car, wash the engine bay, take off the plate to get rid of the glare and take some good outdoors pics.

im running 4psi in the winter time right now on stock internals, with stock pump, and stock injectors.
will be boosting 6psi in summer time 7psi at the track for a run or two.
next winter im doing a zc swap mainly to convert to mpfi.

Cool I'd like to turbo my 1.5 but might want to go turbo LS. How much power you think you are making?

right now with my winter boost (4psi) i bet im making a total of around 135hp

Amazing do it yourself cheap setup. For ultimate price savings you could have went with a Bosch Porcshe or Saab BOV for $25 that are good for up to 12 psi.

its all about the sound. the places where you dont wanna skimp are the turbo, the intercooler, and the blow off valve.
i think that bov has been the best money ive spent in the whole kit, next to the turbo itself.
bosch can't even come close to an hks, but i guess if your a real bargain hunter you would be fine with a bosch.
y go with a Saab blow off valve when u can go MItsubishi that holds 21 PSI. alot betta and they got a prett wiked sound

I like the sound of the HKS, but I have had bad problems with them leaking, well atleast the HKS Super Sequential....this season team Phatridz is experimenting with the HKS race BOV that looks pretty awesome, but we will have to see how well it hold up to over 30 pounds of boost and some 8 second passes. On street cars we are running the Apex BOV's and they seem to be working pretty well. I was just pointing out the Bosch BOV because of its extremely low price. I also agree with the 1G Eclipse BOV....get it crushed and they can hold a lot of pressure. I have seen one at over 22psi.

you can make an hks racing bov hold 22psi, you just gotta change the spring to the appropriate level of strength.

you cant just take a bov and try to put it on a 22psi car, you gotta have the right spring.
I know......I was referring to the HKS SSV with the boost leakage problems and not the racing BOV.

i was more pointing at this quote, pointing out that if you wanna run 30 psi you need a 30 psi spring (if hks even sells one) and it would work fine.
Where did you get the intercooler, or the parts for the intercooler? Also what turbo are you running? And can you explain your FMU?

the intercooler core is a stock audi one from ebay, with the inlet and outlet on the same side (plastic endtanks)
and i made custom endtanks and custom air fins in the inside, and i got the endtanks polished.

the fmu i bought from overboost for 67$ and i dont know much about it cause i had it installed by a mechanic.

the turbo is a TEO4H i think its from a mitsu eclipse (older one)
