It wouldn't be very surprising if it was slipping with the mileage it has on it.
is it stick or auto? my gears all wore out on my accord at 130k miles. its an auto...
5speed or auto?
If it's an auto thats very common for one that has not been serviced regularly.
yea, mine's an auto
have u been taking care of it? regular fluid changes? not treating the car as if it were a race car?
well i've only had this car for about 2 and a half week
I would change the filter/fluid and make sure your TV cable is adjusted correctly (the cable that goes from your throttle body to your tranny).

Isn't it a racecar tho? :rolleyes

Seriously tho, flush the tranny and replace with Honda OEM ATF. Unless it's seriously bothering you and hindering your driving, then you don't need it rebuilt.

i had mine for about a month and half before my tranny went. it stopped in the middle of the road and i had to get it towed and rebuilt it. wasnt cheap either... so get it checked out by some place... the guy told me that their was nothing i could have done earlyer that would have made the gears not wear out.
hmm, another thing is that the tranny only slips on second gear, and only if im giving it a lil extra gas at the time. like it'll accelerate ok, but really slow like, if i don't give it some extra gas, but thats when it slips.
