I've got a dillema. This car is in great shape and am hesitant to pull a perfectly good 1.6 sohc vtec with low miles. Are there any modifications that can be done with the current motor to turn it into a fun daily driver. I've got a sweet set of 17" sport wheels for it, but I'm retaining every stock part I replace. Should I say heck with it and go for an engine swap, or add some performance bolt-ons. I've never tuned a Honda before, but am anxious to see what makes these cars so popular to tune! Thanks.

if its the z6 like i think it is. you got alot of things you can do, like most people will probably say, build a turbo kit. or sell me the engine if you get a swap hehe

Visited an old friend the other day who's become known for working on these things in the local area, I expected to get a few pointers, but he wanted to swap it with a b series dohc. While that sounds nice, all I wanted was an extra 20-25hp or more. I was a little skeptical when I asked what a low mileage, 93 1.6 vtec would go for if I sold mine, and he said 400-500, seems low.

By the way it is a Z6
