my friend just bought 93 del sol s 5spd and he wants to race me this weekend...we both hab i/e...who would win? i think we both have same engine but mine is newer? right?

lets see, 93 del slowl S. 1.5 liter probally 100hp. weighing 2300-2400 lbs. 99 dx coupe 1.6 litre 106 hp. weighing 2300-2400 lbs.

This will be a drivers race. The del slowl is not a light weight car, contrary to popular thought.

It would definately be up to the driver, who ever getting the better launch and whoever can shift better. A drivers race, I love it! Good luck to both and make sure that you guys race safe!

if the del sol aint the b16 model then run it and it will be a drivers race. but if its a b16 model then...ur outa luck unless he really cant drive.

yeh~ it was really fun race~~
we were by side by side until i the 2nd gear n i was pulling away from third gear~!! i prolly got him becuz i was double clutchin maybe? wut u guys think? or i suppose to win this guy~?
im gonna race him again when i get chance..( w/out double clutching...)

Good win...its all a drivers race...i've beaten a 95 EX with my car and whored a 97 200sx SE-R off the line in my slow ass LX...it all depends on the driver. You guys were pretty evenly matched, your car is in fact heavier...
