I just bought a 1994 Integra 5 speed manual with 224k miles on it. Everything is original and bone stock except for the steering wheel, wheels and a cat back exhaust system.

It runs and drives like a dream, but the shifter is a little weird compared to what I am use to. Usually when you shift into second you just pull straight down, however with this one you have to pull down and slightly towards the driver. Is that normal for these cars, or is something weird going on that causes it? It's a rather miniscule difference, but enough to make it somewhat awkward when you're not use to it.
