im looking for some information on adjusting the bands for the 98 civic automatic tranns. The tranns slips when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear, with about 30- 50% throttle. 2nd gear is disengaging but takes a few seconds for 3rd gear to grab, rpms rise about 500-800 before 3rd gear engages causeing a severe clunk. At the end of the trans under the passenger wheel there are bolts labeled #1 #2 #3 and #4, iv adjusted bands on american cars before, but of course this seems much different. So, if anyone has any info or ideas please feel free to Email me, pics would be great aswell :bash
