I have a '98 CL with a f23 in it. I want to put an H22 and a 5 speed in it. Does anybody have and info to help me out, any resources where I could find out what I need to do or a better motor for the car. I am curently a student at Wyotech, so I have a good place to work on it. Thanks

throw an H22A head on the F23 block. you'll hav to mod the head for two of the oil return ports but it bolts right up just stock is good for boost. you'll be at about 8.8:1 compression.but if you research you'll find out that the F23 and the K20 pistion spec's are identical. you throw K20 pistons on the stock F23 rods you boost your compression from 8.8:1 to about 11.5:1 or you could just build up your F23 motor. they are very strong for being a sohc.

if you're trying to build a reliable setup, there's no need to put an h22 head on the f23. it's more work than it's worth. i have swapped h22 into a 98 accord and everything is documented in that forum.
