Yes, I have a 98 Gsr & this has been just a thought at the present time.
For starters I have a ws2 cat back & a aem sri. Along w/ exedy stage 1 clutch.
I was considering a 98 spec B18c r. Now if I did go this route what xtra part would I need to keep my ws2 exhaust. I would only change the intake since it comes w/ the 4-1 headers. Also, like when it comes time for plugs, timing belt etc.. what yr from say dealer,pepboys etc.. would I ask for including ordering a new clutch

I'd just like to know up front if I did go this route.I know alot of you guys would say just build my B18c1.
BTW I have 204,450K. Now if I had to rebuild my B18C1. Should I go with some US/JDM spec R pistons, JDM B16 pistons which 1? 89-91 Sir/ SiR2. It would be a very mild build cuz its my DD.

Any suggestions be great..:number1

Well, what I do for the year of the engine you have is look at this which will be on the head:



Mine says 96, so all the engine parts & gaskets I need will be from a '96 Prelude VTEC model.
