does any one know if the red and white tail lights of the 99 and up coupes fit a 97 civic coupe, or where i can find a set ?

Yes.. The tail lights for 96-00 coupes are all the same.. Try a junkyard, ebay or a Honda dealer (though you're gonna pay out your ass at the dealer.. I think about $360 for the set)
