that was a GT3 which was a N/A club racing version of the 996. that wasnt a turbo

the car itself is still called a 911...

however, it is denoted as a 996, just as the previous style 911 was the 993...
it's kinda like how a prelude is still a prelude, even if its a 3,4 or 5 gen...

hmm, so wait, there is a part in there (close to the end of the vid), where you see footage of the porsche drifting recorded obviously from back of another car, so what I wanna know is what car did they record from ??

i'll have to watch again, but it is prolly some other drift friendly car that has good grip... not hard to find one of those that is stable enough to vid the porsche...the road is dry in the video so you could get someone that isn't working on overpowering the tires to drive in front of it...
