Ok I know this doesn't belong in this forum...but...didn't know where else to post it.
And the civic forum is a pretty populated forum...so I thought I would get a quick response.....

I just wanted to know what types of laws there are in Oregon?
Such as, emissions laws, and engine swap laws..
For example, is it legal to swap a b20 in a civic and drive it on the street.

In other words, does it have strict laws at all?
Thanky my civic homies...

It is legal to swap a different motor in you car as long as it is manfactured by the same company as the car and is the same OBD as the vehicle chassic, and a JDM motor will pass smog in oregon if used with a USDM ecu, i may be wrong on that one though.

yea to stay smog legal you must keep all the smog parts... egr,pcv,cat,ect... and you must keep the same obd version. im pretty sure thats how it is here in ny.
