well i went to go past this car today and i had to do it fast, so revved the engine and downshifted to 2nd gear. well i was going pretty fast and i think i "bounced of the rev limiter" a few times,
the tach was up at like 7,500 rpms. it took me like a second to realize what i was doing and shifted to 3rd right away but i kinda felt bad for my baby like i hurt it or something. so my question is: is it bad for my car? i have a 1992 prelude si 4ws w/ 144,000 miles on it. thanks guys/girls

its not that bad...just don't always do it or it will eventually mess it up...thats what the rev limiter is there for..to prevent damage to your car...
