I just wanted to know does it really make a differnce in sound??
I have 2 kicker comp vr with a 1600 watt lanzar amp,and the kit i have in now is really old.
So would a new and more expensive one make my system sound any better??
Oh and one more thing.What type of 6x9's do yall think i should get??
I dont want to hook an amp to the 6x9's or anything like that, I just need some good mids.

Power wire is power wire, ground wire is ground wire, but when you start talking about speaker wire and RCA's etc, it does make a difference. With RCA's a good set from somebody like Stinger, Moster Cable, Lightning Audio, Scosche, etc will sound better than the el cheapos. As fas as 6x9s go, screw them altogether. I would worry more about getting a good set of mids/highs up fromt in the car. I have never met a 6x9 worth running, and I never will. What kind of car is it anyway? If its a coupe, you expecially do NOT need rear speakers at all.

I havent gotten my civic yet

but anyway you think i shoud just worry about mid/highs??
What kind should i get??
are the i now the highs re the tweeters bt are the mid's the seakers in the door?
My car doesnt have door speakers.
Just tweeers
and two spaces for 6x9's

No up front mid-bass? Well, that's American for ya, LOL, just kidding. Yeah, worry about getting sound up front. You want the sound to come from in front of you. When was the last concert you went to that the sound came from behind you? With a coupe this is easy to get enough mid/high to be satisfied. With a set of components up front you'll NEVER miss your rear speakers, trust me. Depending on what you want to spend, Image Dynamics Chameleon series are awesome for the money. If you DON'T have any spots for mids up front, Q-Forms probably has kick panels for your car. For about 140 beans you can have a space for a 5.25 and a tweet that are already imaged pretty well.
