I was wondering what size tires and rims you guys have on your 90-93 accords here witha 1.5 to 2 inch drop? I have a 93 accord and about to buy some new rims and tires, but don't know what size to get so that I scrape my inner fender or anything. I was thinking 17 inch tires would be perfect and 18' would be too big. thx

anything will fit

you can get almost any size rim... you just need to get the rim profile of tire with the rim... check out whalentire.com they have a tire/rim calculator to help with your decision. they do this so you can get the combo of rim and tire to try to make it the same diameter as the stock size. but anything over a 17 just gets damn expensive. i would go with 17 inch rims with some 205 40r17 tires... it should look good with the drop.. meaning not too much wheel gap.

hey thanks...........

hey thanks for the reply! I'm going for the 17inchers most definitely just didn't know the tire size I guess. Also just wanted other opinions because I"m new at this and did not want to spend 800 buck for rim and tires and then they rub my fender like sh--t. thx

Jock, I just bought a set of 17s with Mille Miglia wheels. I have a 2001 2door AV6, the tire & wheel store recommended 215 50R 17. Unfortunately, there isn't a huge selection in the size but I went for Michellins.

i have 17's. my first tires were 205 40 17. they didnt last very long. so once they were worn out i got some yokohama 215 45 17
i like them alot better than the falken zieks that i had. i ahvent dropped my car yet and i dont think i will. so i wanted to take up some room in the wheel well. so if you have dropped your car i would not suggest my tire size. although there might be an over all difference of an inch or so.
