I wouldn't put all your money on winning this race, My friend has a 4-door ex 5-spd, and I can smoke him. I can't say for sure cause I don't know the specs on that year lude, but in the 1320 you will only run high 16's if that.

i beat a 94 non vtec lude that was a stick, i had him by almost a car length at 60. you should be able to be an 89 si, dont they have 2.0L inthem.

You'll take him. With a 13 y/o car, I willing to bet that the Lude doesn't have all of the stock 135hp it had back in '89. Brake torque launch at 2500rpm and you should take him.
what are the specs on the 2.3 DOHC non VTEC motors on the ludes?
