After changing master and slave clutch cylinder...cluth is too soft now..why?

I just changed the both system and now notice that the clutch is a lot easier to push in..is it because i didn't bleed it with enough pressure...or the new cylinder doesn't hold as much pressure as the OEM one? it's weird driving my car now..it's like driving an Integra..the clutch is really easy..

You might want to keep bleeding your system...Its suppose to be stiffer than that. It shouldn't feel real soft at all.
maybe it's like having a new stock clutch and it's supposed to be easy. afterall, the clutch master and slave cylinders are working a lot more effeciently than they were before you had a problem. check the fluid and if it's ok then i wouldn't worry too much about it. you might want to carry some brake fluid with you for the next few days or weeks until you know that there isn't going to be a problem with the fluid. if something bad goes wrong, at least you can add more fluid and limp home.
Why do my eyes hurt?

Its the first time youve used them neo..... ;)

I was thinking that too.

i HATE how that feels. most manual cars ive driven have clutches like that. it feels like the clutch is fake or something. i like having a stiff clutch like what youre talking about. although maybe thats how a new clucth is supposed to feel. i test drove a 95 prelude for my friend last year and it felt like that. and every 5th gen ive driven feels like that too.... it sucks getting used to one of those and then goin back and trying to get used to a stiff clutch.

anyways, good luck gettin in stiff! ;) heh, put some viagra in the lines! :D
Whats up MURDAH, how have you been man? Long time no see. So i take it you finally got her back on the road(from your post). How is she running other than the clutch feeling like ass?

What's up man....yeah i been good..the car is running smooth....this is the smoothess my gears has been since i bought the car...but i gotta do something about the clutch though....it's really soft and doesn't release as well...i have a hard time launching without wheelspin...cuz not used to it..

Ben...yeah i might try to bleed it again, maybe i need more pressure within the cylinders...
Thats cool. Good luck to ya man and lets us know how things go.
you might need to adjust your clutch a little more. i'm by no means an expert in this area but i know that you can adjust it and it'll feel stiffer or something.

do u mean the clutch pedal or the clutch itself...cuz i don't think you can adjust the clutch itself to make it stiff....and stiffness is controlled in the cylinders....how much pressure it can hold...i'm clueless too..but i'm getting used to the new soft clutch...doesn't launch as quick but less hassle to drive daily....no more straining calf muscle
i was under the impression that you make adjustments to the clutch itself...somehow... again, i'm not an expert, i don't like dealing with clutches and other transmission stuff. what i know about clutches i hear by word of mouth. i usually give advice about stuff i've already done to my car or another car. severl people have told me that they have had their clutches "adjusted." talk to somebody at a clutch shop and ask em how they do it. then when they ask when you'll be in for an appointment tell em to eat it and do it yourself. haha. good luck bro
hahaha...yeah, i dont like going to mechanics...i hear stories about them messing up other parts of your car so that they can charge you for that part as well...what ever i can do on my own i will do it...as for the clutch adjustability...i think you can do that with cable driven clutch...not hydraulic...but it's okay...i'm used to my car now....much easier to drive....
oh maybe you're right about adjusting the clutch only on cable clutches. i never thought of that. i friggin hate mechanics too. one stripped my oil pan, and broke off my lug nuts rotating the wheels then denied it... i was pissed.
