I have a 1996 Honda Accord VTEC and it has 150K miles on it. It still runs well but sometimes it does not start as quickly as it should and it does not accelerate like it used to. What I want to know from you other car guys is, if I replace the distributor cap, rotor and wires as well as the ignition coil and oterh ignition parts do you think it would improve the performance of my car. Also should I buy performance parts for those replacements or Honda original parts. I will also be doing a Fuel injector cleaning and fuel filter replacement. Any advice from the real car guys.

Do a search here for "sea foam treatment"...that might help.......or do a compression test...if the numbers are really low you might need to get a rebuild
