alright i have a 94 cx it came with air bags stock. but the car doesn't have air bags now.the guy i bought the car off of took it out to save weight.well my question is do i tell my insurance that i don't have air bags or not, i know its illegal to not have air bags from cars 94 and up. i really don't wanna buy air bags either much less install em. should i just buy an aftermarket steering wheel and tell my insurance that i don't have air bags.

has anyone else took out there air bags, and is your insurance still covering u?

im pretty sure you don't have to tell your insurance you don't have airbags. they're not that hard to put in though, it'd take you 5 minutes at the most.

i've heard that if u don't tell your insurance and u get in an accident that they will not cover u if get hurt.
