i got a breather that goes on my valve cover, where do i put the hose that went from there to my intake? just remove it?

I removed that hose and bought 2 mini filters from Matrix and put it on the nipple where the hose was connected to. Its highly recommended cause the high flow capacity and vaccum from performance aftermarket intakes are strong enough to suck oil out of the valve cover and back into the engine, causing the entire intake mainfold to be coated with oil.
my intake was drawing oil as well. if you don't have 2 breathers you can cap off the nipple on the intake.
yeah that's what i did...i bought one of them mini filters and plugged both of the outlets up...one on the valve cover and one on the intake....you can just plug the intake with something else....don't have to be the filter...
where can i find a filter for the valve cover?

i think id cap off the intake nipple...seems like it would mess up air velocity and suck in hot air too.
I once heard that by doing this it would mess up the vacum draw that is needed inside the motor? This is said to cause long term damage? I hope this info is wrong.

you plugged something on the valve cover? where did you put the filter? nothing on your valve cover should be plugged.

Advanced Auto Parts sells K&N. you'll need to measure the ID of the nipple off of the valve cover to get the one that fits. or you could go to Pep Boys and get the APC brand which are universal.

if you have something like an AEM Short Ram then I would get an additional filter for the nipple on it.

I have heard something about that too. it doesn't make sense to me. why do you need that draw from your intake? whats wrong with the valve cover releasing pressure on its own through a breather?
Just cap off the nipple on your intake, and use the hose and feed it to the ground, so the oil mist sprays out. The reason TB's get dirty is because the oil from the crankcase gets blown into the intake. OR you can get a oil catch can.
