Does anyone have DIY instructions on how to convert the old A/C system of a 93 civic Dx to the new coolant?

just go to your local auto store and ask them. They will have it for between 30-50 dollars. It's a very simple conversion. Don't pay dealer costs, they rape you

Assuming that your installing the system from scratch, just buy the conversion kit and do it all at the same time.

You won't. You original post didn't say the system was coming from a newer car.
