Was talking about all motor vs. turbo today, and got the idea from someone that It would be cheaper and more effiecient to buy and peice together your own turbo kit, part for part. Wondering if there were some other point of views?? as far as spending money on quality turbo DD set ups for B series.

IMO i think buying quality parts is a must. some say that the cheap stuff is good enough but not when it breaks and causes some serious damage to your car. I suggest that you stick with piecing together you kit with the parts you want.

I went the all motor route.. and i'm dragging 400+whp turbo charged ls/vtecs..

Correct combo of parts and the right tune..

Of course top end wise a turbo charger should win... But if we're talking here 1/4 times and you know.. trapping a certain amount of speed.. all motor vs turbo charge , its whatever you perfer as a person.. i think turbo is the easy way out... you dont do research , you throw together a hairdryer and you think your fast. You dont take the time to see what works and what doesn't.. and what makes "real" power.

How much money are you spending?

Are you using quality parts?

Good tune?
