Who cares what everyone else thinks? If you like them, knock yourself out. It's your car. :)

Look around on the net for different places that sell altezzas - I know there's a ton of 'em. See if you can find the style you want. I haven't seen too many different styles for the newer Civics, though. Good luck.

Yeah, when they are pointing

Well, dont be suprised when they are pointing... but most wont be laughing.. they get looks cuz they are different... I got some on mine, and it makes my car look different than the other million black 95 civic ex on the road.. Now.. as for the red on bottom or on top, i dont think you have anything to worry about.. all you gotta do is pull your light out, and put it in the right spot on the new light.. I know.. I have a 95, and teh blinker, and back up light is on the top, where the brake lights are on the bottom half, well, the Altezzas, all you gotta do is unscrew, or twist out your light fixture and twist it into the correct spot on the Altezza..

e-mail me if you have any other Q's

crash6934: If the Altezzas you want are made for your year of Honda, then buy them. See what you do is install the Altezzas, and leave the bulbs in there proper little plug in, screw thing (whatever the thing that holds the bulb into place is called) And then you just put the proper bulb, into the proper spot on the Altezzas. My buddy has a 1993 Honda Civic Si Coupe, and see his brake lights are the bottom half of the stock tail light. But on the Carbon Fibre Altezzas he use to have, the brake lights were the top half of the tail light. So all we did was pluged the brake lights into the brake light holes on the Altezzas, etc. Get what I'm trying to say?

i don't get it!? i NEVER thought altezzas looked bad, i hate that somewhere along the line, the word Altezza became synonymous with rice.

they look bad ass, custom, and when they're lit they look so rad. i love how mine look OEM (except to those who know more about imports) but at night JUST the four little circles light up as my brake lights.

Let's give it up for altezzas!!!!:D

crash6934: The tail lights for the 2 door, and 4 door Honda Civics are extremely different. DO NOT BUY 2 DOOR TAIL LIGHTS IF YOU HAVE A 4 DOOR. Yeah buy the Altezzas if they are specifically made for your year of 4 door Honda Civic. They'll definatly fit if they are made for your year of sedan. Do not buy the 99-00 Honda Civic Sedan tail lights, because there quite different then the 96-98 Honda Civic Sedan tail lights.

Altezza Install Instructions

NOTE: These instructions are from a 2 door Honda Civic, however the uninstall, and install methods are similar, if not the same.

So remember you do not have to take each bulb out of the tail light harness. You just turn the little thing holding the bulb into the tail light, and leave it out. Then you install your new tail lights, and you the insert for example the brake lights into there proper spots on the Altezzas, not where they were orginally located on the stock tail lights.

This make sense?

What would cost you a hell of alot less would be to go the red/clear tail light route. Because then you only have to buy the outer piece of the tail light as your inner piece is already red/clear. :)

Oh BTW it took me about 15 minutes to uninstall my buddies Carbon Fibre Tail Lights, and reinstall his OEM Tail Lights.

Rice rice rice rice rice rice rice

Alright, not to offend anyone, but being a journalism major, I have to do this. My review on Altezza Taillights.

Not that I've never thought about owning a pair, but are you doing it to be different? If it weren't such a huge trend in aftermarket "performance" products, maybe they might be remotly alright. But yes, they look different to everyone. Including the cops. What would you think if you were a cop? Here's what I'd think- some chump kid. Why don't you use the $200 some odd dollars and get something that makes your car go faster? Why do you need to look different from every other Civic? I like to blend, then if someone thinks I blend too much, I'll let the 1/4 mi times and the dynos to prove them wrong. I think Altezzas are mass marketed "taste" that makes your car look Tasteless.
