one prob after another :banghead: hearing sqeaking when car idles, not belts, sound like alternator or ac, when ac is turned on it goes away. i can't pinpoint where exactly just know it's a moving part. if i pull ac belt prob should go away right?(given it is the ac compressor) i don't want to be that car that chirps at idle, i mean it could be any one of those pumps or compressor or alt because the car sat for so long before i started driving it again. Any opinions before i start tearing shit apart. i love this car but it ain't showin me no love lately. :trout:

check your AC idler pulley and make sure its clean, also check and make sure the belt is at the proper tension.

yeah, was gonna start pokin around tomorrow, if pulling the ac belt quiets it down then i'm playing burnout for the summer :fire

my prob is i'm knowledgeable enough with the motor to perform maintenance myself, but physically cant do shit anymore. just had brain surgery last month, could be months before i can even take a normal shit again :kloguck: no straining for a long time or i can blow out the patch they put on my cerebellum :bomb that's why i ask question some peeps might find ignorant but i just cant remember anymore :huh thanks for replies
