I am approaching the time in which I much replace my timing belt. The belt itself it like 40 bucks from Honda but where they get you is on the labor which is about 240!!! But is there a way you can just do it yourself and save the money. Any websites or anything with step by step instructions on how this can be done??

any auto parts store...or order them from a bookstore...or order online.
they are pretty good and have fairly good instructions on how to do the stuff.
if you want to get fancy you can get a helm's manual for a lot more, but i have heard they are the best...but i can say the haynes/chiltons ones i have are bad.

you might even go down to a library and see if they have a book that covers your car, that way you can read the steps to do the job and see if you are up to it.

It is not that tough of a job, if you have a basic tool set, and some mechanical knowledge. The hardest part is breaking loose the nut holding the pulley on the end of the crank. I broke two sockets (luckily they were craftsman) and a ratchet. I finally got a buddy who works on diesels to bring his 3/4" drive tools down, and with a big cheater bar we broke it loose. You also will need to make something to wedge against the ground that bolts to the crank pulley to keep it from turningwhen you break the bolt loose on the crank. Do not do like it says in the chiltons manual and wedge something against the flywheel, i did that and it tore my bellhousing. good luck.
