oh and by the way, its a 5th gen prelude ss.
So your car has over 500hp with 400lbs of torque?Mike Natoli said:I got my 5th gen converted at a local shop and it works great. Was a little pricey, but when you've got a lot of major work done to the block and head, you just gotta do what you gotta do. I had to convert mine because of the work done, the SS tranny wouldn't hold and a level 10 tranny rebuild (for the auto) still wouldn't hold, it is only good for 500hp and 400lbs. IMO If you stay under those I would go with the level 10 rebuild kit as opposed to the conversion, the auto is much more precise.
I have no choice but to convert mine auto to 5 sp, too... BS...WHATEVER.. IF U HAVE ENOUGH MONEY.. AN AUTO WILL BE THE BEST CHOICE.. I DON'T KNOW IF U NOTICED THAT MOST 9 OR 8 SEC CARS ARE AUTO..BUT WITH A DIFFERENT TRANNY SYSTEM...I think their tranny cost over 20k... (not too sure on this price)...Mike Natoli said:I got my 5th gen converted at a local shop and it works great.
