i heard with 3" piping it gets really loud and was just wondering if anyone here had 3" piping to tell me just how much louder it gets.....

I would think that 3" piping would be pretty loud...due to the fact that you would only have it if you are turbocharged

3" piping would only be real good if you had a turbo...Other than that, just get 2.25" piping

my bf supra have a hks exhaust that have 4in piping its the loudest thing next to a 747

If you think a supra is loud, you havnt heard a RX-7. In the NIRA rule book theres a rule just for them regarding exhaust noise pollution.

you should hear a twin turbine engine without mufflers...after it starts up you go deaf and won't be able to hear it anymore.

Are you on crack? My car sounds like a muscle car (however it could be the aggresive grind cams, etc.). All I know is that it is not that quiet, at all. Not close to as quiet as when I has I/H/E with 2.5" piping.

I'm sporting a 3" stainless steel mandrel bent system (turbo manifold to muffler) with an Apexi N1 turbo muffler.

you are ony supposed to have 3inch piping if u have a turbo. get 2.5

If you got a Turbo 3in piping is the way to go.
Non Turbo performs very well with 2 1/4.....
And.it's true....some cars on turbo (NOT RX-7's) are quiet.......even though they have 3 inch piping and and a bomb.
