is there an easy way to make unpowered mirrors powered? like if i got m3 mirrors and wanted to put my power mirror motor from the stock mirrors in them, would that be easy?

i would say good luck. I wouldn't think it would be that hard as long as you can line up the motor with the mirror and it can be mounted. That is all theoritcal but that is the basic idea. To transfer all teh parts to the non-powered mirror from your stock one. I think you should just buy new ones.

Hey Groundcontrol:

say i am going to get a nitrous and i want to upgrade the fuel pump, could I put a civic si fuel pump in? that should pump out more fuel because it was used on a b-series motor?

also are all fuel injectors the same size? like i could put gsr, si, or itr injectors in? can i even put in like injectors from an eclipse turbo?

also for the throttle body? do u know how big the si throttle body is? can i bolt on an ITR t/b? since the si t/b bolts on to the stock manifold, then would the si manifold bolt on to the d-motor?

What shot of nitrous are you planning on running?

I don't want to give you bad advice - so I'll be honest... I don't know much about fuel pumps. I THINK the SI doesn't pump that much more than the SI. A friend of mine is running a prelude (2.2L) fuel pump in his GSR/hatch ( to go with this larger nitrous shot). So I know for a fact that the prelude fuel pump will flow a hell of alot of fuel... 2.2L vs. 1.6L. That would be my suggestion if you want to keep honda parts. Otherwise - Ive heard people saying good things about bosch and walbro(dunno about the spelling).

Dude, I have no idea about the fuel injectors from a eclipse turbo - I guess you will have to do some research on it. A friend of mine offered to sell me his GSR injectors for a hundred bucks - for slightly larger injectors it seemed like a damn good deal - so we swapped em - and they looked identical. So, obviously, if they dont LOOK like they're gonna fit - they wont.

INTAKE MANIFOLDS/T.B.'S
The Intake manifold from an SI WILL NOT bolt up to a d-series head. Yes, I would THINK that a type R throttle body would fit onto your stock manifold... but I think it would be overkill. You dont wanna go way the hell larger - cus your engine aint made for that... it's kinda like putting 6 inch diameter pipe (2 inch diameter stock) on your exhaust - you know? The SI throttle body is something like 3 or 4 mm's larger than the EX throttle body. So, I would GUESS the type R manifold would be something crazy like 7 or 8 mm's larger than stock... see my point? The aftermarket throttle bodies made for our car specifically are about the same size as the SI. And the SI t.b. will be a WHOLE LOT cheaper than the type R... and I'm not even sure the type R t.b. would even be physically possibe... you would have to bore out your fucking intake manifold a SHITLOAD - that just fucking up the whole general design of airflow into your engine... I have no clue what the effects would be - but I wouldn't suggest you find out. Good luck.

I wouldn't even bother with the 35 shot if I were you. Your engine can take a 75 with no problems - as long as you address both the spark and fuel. A 75 shot with bolt ons will have you keeping up with the big boys... I'm just going to stay out of all this torque converter talk that is erupting on this board all of a sudden. I know my manual shit - but when it comes to automatic trannies - I keep my mouth shut.

dude hold off on buying i/h/e. Its a big mistake because to buy that stuff if you havent made up your mind on whether your gonna supercharge or nitrous. first what you should do is think of a plan on what your gonna do then decide on what your gonna buy. the reason im telling you this is because for example the header you buy mightnot be the best for supercharging or the same with the exhaust, so i hope you get the idea. so just hold up on all that till you have a plan ok dude! if you need any help just post on here i will try to help you with anything i can.
