I put some apc coilovers and the kyb gas adjust shocks on my 99 civic and in the rear the locking nut will only go so far down because of the housing on the shock that the springs would lay down on. the car is still low in the back but it keeps me from going any lower has anyone had this problem??? i should have just bought a true coilover system i guess.

Hey man. Me and a friend have the same problem. He said hes going to probably cut his off and it wouldnt be hard to do. But if you're anything like me I dont want to mess with any of the stock stuff in case I want to go back stock someday.

jack you car up further in the rear - it will allow the spindle to travel further and easier when adjusting your coils.

just for a while

yeah i got the apc coilovers cheap so i just did that for now in the future im going to end up getting true coilovers. but its ridding okay for right now and looks great lowered.
