I got a ticket today on the way to school. I was late and was going to fast. I pulled into the parking lot and parked my car. I got out and the officer made me stay and get the ticket. Is there any way that i can get out of this since i was on school property which is private property?? thanks in advance

school isnt private property, its government property, which is within jurisdiction of all cops. if its a private school, maybe you could get out of it, but if they saw you on public roads speeding then it doesnt really matter. no big deal just pay up

you could pull into your garage and they can still give you the ticket. They saw you on a public roadway. That makes you free game..Man up and pay the fine and slow down.

Public School property is just as much public property as the road is.
