Am doing an Ls/Vtec- was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do ecu wise-- right now I have a 1998 Integra which is OBDIIa--> bought a Conversion harness-->OBDI into a P30 ECU. Now I was wondering if i should mod the chip or go with the Apexi Controller. I am running Toda Spec B Cams and internals.

you will need both a chip and vafc unless you go hondata.

since there are no stock ECU's that run an LS/vtec, your gonna need to chip the p30 so it utilises DOHC, good timming, and decent fuel maps. Then use the Apexi VAFC to smooth it out.

Or you can just get a hondata and find a place to get it properly tuned. Hondata would be the "better" step, but the VAFC and chip is really all you need. It goes down to what the tuners in your area can do for you.
