i just installed my Apexi WS. beautiful exhaust. wonderfully mader. high quality weldings. mirror finish muffler. looks stock, very quiet. HOWEVER. this muffler is not made for the low rider in mind. the resonator is TOO BIG. usually the cat is the lowest point of the car, that it gets scratched if you dont angle it right. the resonator on the WS hangs about an inch lower that the cat. and its right smack in the middle of the car and theres no way you can angle it to avoid scraps. argh! my car is only dropped 1.8 inches. not THAT low. another flaw in design is that the b-pipe touches the fuel tank someimes causing an annoying rattling. anybody that has the WS have the same problem? any answers? help.

the same problems are incurred with the n1 also. best advice is to visit a muffler shop and have them heat up the piping and bend it for more clearance around the gas tank and to raise the resonator a little bit

I used to have one. I put a extra rubber hanger (the small, thin circle kind) into the joint where the B-pipe bolts onto the muffler section, and the rattle went away, worked absolutely great. The only thing is, whenever I go WOT, the pipe I guess would move and the rubber hanger would fall out into the street, never to be seen again. It worked though, pretty good.
