if nothing goes wrong...HELL YES...after I got my exhaust, I bought the AEM pullies about 2 weeks ago...so far so good..definitely a difference in low end...peace
i've got a set in my closet right now that im planning on putting in this weekend. some people have had trouble w/ the alternator pulley, tho. so i would say that if you dont have a system or drive in traffic much, then it would be worth it to you. but if you do, then the gains that they give might not be worth the headache they might cause you.
what do u mean the alternator pulley, i mean explain to me what can go wrong if you dont mind and also what do cam gears do, i heard if they dont sit right then they fuck up the engine nd shit??
the problem with the alternator pulley is that it is bigger than the stock pulley so it turns slower causing the battery to be charged less. so your battery wears down if you are at idle a lot of the time, and eventually it dies. also, some people have had their alternators die on them.
oh, and they dont make cam gears for the v6 yet.
Wait for the UR pulleys (crank, alternator, and AC)! They suppose to be better than AEM but I only wanna get the crank pulley! :D
the guy where I bought my battery told me that a deep cycle battery would help w/the problems caused by underdriving the alternator...he explained why, but i dont really remember why it was...its worked for me so far...hope it continues....
Im thinking on getting the AEM pulleys too. But if you have the money I heard Onorthodox are the best Pulleys!

The low end power from the pulleys is awesome and definitely noticeable launching from stop lights.

If you have a big stereo or plan to add one, I don't recommend installing the alternator pulley though. Also if you drive in a lot of stop and go traffic you may have problems with dead batteries because of the low charging when the car is at idle. Once past 1,000 rpms the alternator charges properly.
