Audi wanted to bitch slap the M5 and it looks like they're raising their hands. But BMM (//M) is laughing cos it takes a bi turbo V8 to do so whereas M5 is N/A 
Audi announces new RS6
Audi has released details of the new RS6, the most powerful model imo.
It will be fitted with a 4.2-litre twin turbo V8 engine pushing out no less than 450bhp, with maximum torque of 412lb/ft available from 1950-5500rpm. Tiptronic transmission is standard.
What all that means is that the RS6 bullets to 62mph in 4.9 seconds and has no difficulty getting to the familiar governed autobahn top speed of 155mph.
It's hoped that first supplies to the UK will arrive in September. No prices yet, but Audi says they will be "quite competitive".
