i have a 90 teg wiht b18a1......i have a problem with the head of this motor...if i were to put the B16 in would it perform better?worse?..........is there enough torque in the B16?

Swap a b16 with a b18?? Yeah it will have torque problems

Just swap the head....then you'll have LSVtec

like they always say "theres no replacement for displacement".... i would say u would have less TQ with the b16, as which honda motors dont easily gain TQ.... i say stick with b18....

B16A's suck dick 111lbft of torque is pathetic, fuckin a, I have a 92 Integra GS head down in the garage if you need it its a straight up bolt up to your block, or you could run LS/VTEC pick up alot of HP doing it too just get a VTEC head.

For Christ sakes, look around a little. And please don't make me go on a long tangent again on how much a B16 in an Integra sucks.

you say that as if it is as easy as just swapping a head.........i would also have to rewire the motor, and do something with an oil line right??

LS/VTEC takes quite a bit, I have an LS/VTEC motor and its fuckin awesome.

B20/VTEC is setup very very similar to LS/VTEC, but look into it its a worthy motor, and all the shit about LS/VTEC's being unreliable is some serious BS, if the motors built right it'll run perfectly. :p
