Honda designed that transmission to go with that engine. It has a team of engineers who design model specific transmissions, they spend all day designing and testing, studying gear ratios and final drives. Yes, it has longer gears but it works fine. I dont know how you fried 3 of them.. you may want to check your source, I think they are selling you fried trannies. oh well, the gsr trans is a good idea, but in a pinch, the ls will do just fine.
