this is all correct, the block is not made to be revved as high as the head and you can only rev as high as the lowest tolerance so I'm afraid you gotta keep the revs to about 8 or below but on the other hand this is where all the power lives on the b20/vtec and LS/vtec, they're made for their torque and torque is found in the low end, and for daily driving you really shouldn't be revving nearly that high anyways
