I know the b20 sleeves are known for not being the best but i was thinking about buying this built b20-vtec motor from one of my friends. Bottom end is built with eagle rods, and je pistons. with the gsr head on it the compression is around 12:1. The head also has p/p work done with it and some high lobe cams. My main concern though is the sleeves and if they are at a high risk of cracking? Or if i stay below 7k rpms will it be all good? If anyone has any suggestions it will be greatly appreciated.

if you put a head like that on trust me you will want to take it above 7k. if you're that worried about the sleeves, get it resleeved.
