I have a tanabe racing medallion and i didn't think about this much until recently, but when i rev sometimes or i go to shift gear and my engine revs down i hear a slight pop. i don't know if it's a backfire, i would have thought they woud be louder than this. any ideas on what else it could be? i was thinking maybe it was just the way the exhaust was designed.

haha, j/k.. So I've been told, that is caused by too much back pressure.. I'm not sure why it's happening to you though, b/c the point of aftermarket exhaust systems are usually to lower back pressure..

hell too much backpressure with a tanabe rm without silencer? lol i just wanted to make sure it wasn't a backfire i was pretty sure it wasn't but better safe than sorry. i love my RM, nice deep sound with noticeable pull up top.
