yeah, its called powershifting... my friend drives his civic like a maniac and gets wheel hop shifting into every gear. its absolutely ridulous. its funny that people think preludes are race cars, but its even funnier, to me, that people think civics are

I hit a barking dog in third gear once

Ive hit / barked / chirped / squeeled / peeled 5th gear. Ive hit 4th gear , and had it last longer and sound more mean than most hit 2nd.....it was seriously like brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr , on grippy ass new tires..... But yes i also had my ACT in as well. I cant really hit 4th anymore.... Just a light pip...........I dont even try 5th anymore. But i can still rail away on 3rd all day , 2nd i dont try , it doesnt even chirp , i just here this spinning sounds , and pillows of smoke come out.....while my car always tachs to redline....

I hit 3rd in my LS when I had an ACT stage 4 in there. Barked 4th twice when the clutch was almost brand new. Is anyone using an Exedy Organic racing clutch and flywheel combo? I just got it and was wondering what y'all think about it. thanks

ah, the kids these days are coming up with their own system of language...just last nite a guy commented my car on SHO saying, and i quot.."it was mad safe dawg"...i was confused...nonetheless i thanked him...i've never heard of anyone used the term barking relating to cars....dogs bark..

I was referring to SpanishRicer at the time of my post... Haven't seen the other ludes yet.

With my ACT, i can bark 'em in fourth without powershifting, just some hard ass shifting. I did it at the racetrack and even got it on video, it was pretty cool. With my setup, i get tons of wheel hop and it drives my nuts, it so rough. Although, it may be cool to bark em in 2nd, 3rd or 4th, its not helping your speed one bit, since you are losing traction. Basically, you want to be at the point where they would bark, but not actually pushing them over the edge. It sounds kinda cool though.
