Thanks guys, but one more question

Well I was reading through my import tuner magazine and it had this one 1994 Integra LS on issue January 2002 and they dyno it and it had 105.5HP 99.1TQ to the wheel on stock trim.
And on issue August 2001 they had a 2001 Honda Civic EX which came out to 110.4HP 103.5TQ to the wheel on stock trim.
Now my question is why does the Civic EX have more HP & TQ to the wheel then the Integra LS when the Civic EX engine is smaller because it is SOHC??? Is it the Civic EX Vtec that the LS doesn't have???

You must remember.....the ls may have dohc, but it weighs more than the ex (and yes i know the ex is a fully loaded behicle) but it still does weigh more (ls), also....the vtec helps a bit...but not very notciably much. The cars are basically even when it comes to racing....its all depending on the driver....

first of all weight has nothing to do with dyno horsepower and second of all the integra you are talking about had over 150,000 miles on the odometer. the civic propably had 2,000. that makes a big difference

when a car is dyno, weight doesn't affect the numbers....

yeah, the car had 150000+ miles on it. the fact that it even still works, is a testiment to honda motors (toyota motors are also very strong and can be run more miles than some honda motors). 105 hp is good for 150000 miles.
