man....lemme tell u....i had a great valentines day...my potential bf surprised me with candlelit dinner. i was floating on clouds until next morning as i walked to my car to take off for work and saw my back side window on the passenger side, windowless with all little pieces of glass in the backseat of my car...

i have a 98 black gsr coupe and them bastards tried to pry out the small triangular window by the back seat of my passenger side cause i got dents by there. but i guess they broke the glass instead. they stole my stock cd player, my cd case of burned cd's, my Ralph Lauren sunglasses, pryed out my tweeter on the driver side but left that hanging, yanked on my gas tank lever and broke it, left the gas flap open, screwed up the keyhole of my trunk (from trying to open it i guess), opened my hood (but i guess they couldnt open it cause of my hoodpins--dumbnuts), went through my glove compartment and all my shit in my car, and left my doors closed but not shut tightly. all i can say is...damn amatures...but i'm glad that they are, otherwise, my car wouldn't have still been there.

yea i was pretty distraught. my baby had been raped while i was out on valentines day. this has never happened to me before. i was a victim and never felt so violated... well, even though generally, it is minimal damage, it still hurts...and will take some time to recover. i'm sure all of u know what i mean...

well, i've been driving around with a black trash bag piece of plastic taped onto as my side window, all flapping in the wind, especially on the freeway and listening to it flap...and only to that, cause i aint got the deck anymore either...

i figure it's a good excuse to get a nice and new deck. as for the window, i've been searching online all over...but cant seem to find the price for it. anyone know what it is exactly called? the part no.? and where I can find the price for it? just so I dont get ripped off when I replace it. thanks.

I had someone throw a bottle through my drivers side triangle window on my integra. It cost me around 150 to have it fixed.

Insurance should cover all of that stuff you got stolen and instead of burned cd's you can get the real ones unless of course they were mixes. Glass is usually free and you get a box of steaks for having it fixed by some companies.

Anyways, don't worry too much about it if you have insurance, they should be happy to help you out.

free glass, free steaks...uh let me in on that. 150 is a close estimate, but it could be more. I think when I had to get my quater panel replaced on my 91gs (rip) it was like 250. That was a long time ago though.

I am sorry to hear about your valentines day. That sucks, maybe it was some jealous ex girlfriend of your "potential" boyfriend on some kinda 90210 tip?!!?

When my GS was broken into, all that was taken was the tape deck which was broken in the first place. It still sucked though, because my car was also wrecked at the time from a minor rearend collision that I got into while checking a girl out that was walking down the road....I know, I know"keep your eyes on the road." But damn she was fine, and then she was fine and laughing at me.

So the broken window on top of a wrecked car just added insult to injury. Believe me, I know exactly how much it sucks driving around with a trash bag on your window and no stereo to listen to.

it cost me a lil over 100... check out some junkyards... they could help you out with getting a new window... i installed my window myself... so there was no labor

Mine was around 150 installed. If there is a bunch of other damage though I would price it and compare it to how much it would cost you to turn it into the insurance. It is better to fix that stuff yourself then to tell the insurance and have them jack you.

well, i got it replaced today...

i called up the guy that i bought my car from and asked how much he could replace it for me for..and he said $75. i was like "haayyy." ( = dopeness) he didnt charge me for the labor or anything...but yea, according to ur replies..sounds like i got a deal then.

of course my potential bf, the sweetheart that he is, drove the hour drive and took my car to get the glass replaced for me while i was at work. what a sweetie, he's gettin some tonite...hahaha jk. LOL

it looks like brand new! (but of course it'll never be the same..kekeke) my baby gsr is still recovering... but it's one less thing to worry about.

re- the insurance thing, yea i got insurance. but the damage aint worth it...cause my deductible is prolly more than the damage and i aint about to have my insurance raised, especially with my perfect driving and non-accident record.

who did it? yea i wonder....obviously someone stupid, cause i wouldnt steal burned cd's, especially when i didnt even have that many. but yea, i never considered it to be an ex girlfriend...hm... however, i did consider it might be an ex boyfriend...(of mine that is). yes, i've had more than enough of my share of the psychotic ones. way too much drama. anyways, i'm going off tangents here.
