It mainly depends on the shaft and if you are going to go NA or FI
what stage cams are you looking for? are you planning on upgrading your valvetrain? we need to know these things :)

Stage wise either a Stage 2 or a Stage 3. Its still going to be my daily driver so I need to keep a decent idle. I am going N/A (11.6 comp. with a 50 shot ;) ) and I plan on buying the valves, springs and retainers to match the cams.
what about my f22a?

anyone know of cams for my beasty 2.2 SOHC F22A?

You mean cam and I dont think any one makes one for it.
yes i ment cam, and i've found that crower will regrind the stock for $80. not bad i think. a new cam and a 125 lbs shot outta do it eh? :D j/k maybe 150
This thread should be sticky!;)

But i know Crower has been very good with thier cams, JUN is new, Skunk2 is new. JG has been around. I have heard great things about Crower, and the Skunk2 has some radical specs! I my self would choose either Crower, JUN, and Skunk2 stage 2 or 3 cams.

Well its pretty much between one of those for me but if you had to pick just one which would it be and why? I am curently leaning towards Skunk 2 but I might wait a few months in case of any bugs.
i recommend crower... they have been around forever and definately make the best product.. and no cam should be complete without the valvetrain upgrade.. i strongly recommend it.. but i have also heard a lot of good things about webcams.. so check them out.. and if you want to stay a daily driver stick with stage 2 cams.. trust me..
whats your view on the skunk2's? theyre lookin better than the crowers to me

Indeed and they worked wonders on the b series motors.
I vote for the crowers b/c i got a couple of buddies that have them and they are completely satisfied with them and their gains.
Aren't the Skunk2 cams for the B16 and B18 pretty similar to the grinds of their TypeR counterparts? For instance, their cams for the B16 are modeled after the CTR's cams and their cams for the B18 are modeled after the ITR's cams? This is just what I heard and was wondering if there was any truth to it.
crowers are known to SNAP....my friends snapped in 3 pieces..both of them..stage 3...Id get the skunks..looks like a good gain and a lil more then crower and A LOT less than jun
yeah, dont forget about webcams... i heard good things about them too.
I hear all these people saying good things about the Skunk2's, but how do you really know they're any good? They're not even out yet and I'm already seeing horsepower comparisons with other brand name cams. I just want to see some dyno #'s before I'm sold on any set of cams, regardless of whatever company makes it...
