What are you looking for in a cam...a nice high-end pull or a strong transient low-to-mid range pull?

You can run a search or check out different makes of cams. Here's couple off the top of my head:

http://www.todaracing.com
http://www.skunk2.com
http://www.crower.com

And dont forget about good ol' OEM cams. You can make decent gains with ITR/CTR cams as well.

i know the "you get what you pay for" line, but i too am searching for cams for my ls/vtec setup. i am looking for something with good mid range, but i dont want to loose all of my low end torqe.
i've been looking at skunk2, crower, toda, and spoon. there is a great price difference. and cams are expencive to begin with. just want to make the right decision the first time. oh yah, and my car has to pass inspection. that is very important.
any recomendations. will spend the extra money, but want a good product, and want to pass smog
thanks

Get a CTR intake cam and either/or ITR/CTR exhaust cam....no valvetrain is needed and youll stay smog-legal.

I was running those cams, and there was good power throughout the powerband...no compromise of the low-end power from that of a wilder cam. Good cam to consider.

Skunk2 stage I are also good...a little more power, no valvetrain upgrade and smog-legal.

---------Factory ITR Cams

LS/Vtec with CTR/ITR cams:
what can I say...200+hp with stock parts is good:)

The "00 and "01 USDM ITR cams are the same as the Fabled CTR cam's...

97's and 98's had a few degree's sorter duration on the Vtec lobe. There's no sense in spending more on the JDM CTR cam when you can get the USDM cam's for less...
