The topic explains most of the question I have. I want to know what the absolute best oil would be for the engine. It has 150,000 miles currently.

It's a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe LX.

Perhaps for transmission too. The transmission has 22,000 miles.

And what would be some of the best parts to get replaced that will help the engine improve for the long run and possibly squeeze another 150,000 miles out of my new, yet used baby; lol?

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated. I just have to learn which things to start with, what things I should do from this point of just getting the car on the road. The major stuff, and then what comes afterwards. Like in order of importance for engine/vehicle longevity.

This is my first car!! Take care yaw.

Engine oil is just like Religion, everyone has another opinion and there are countless discussions about it.
But trust me on that one - most are victims of advertising and profit hungry dealers.
Honda of course recommends "Honda Oils" which are just refilled and re-labelled refinery oils, mostly by Mobil Oil. But that changes from country to country.
However, Honda also "allows" other oils which meet certain specification and that would include almost all (I do not know any other so far) common motor oil refineries.
I also depends on the region where you live- snowy and cold winters or hot as hell in summer- that could help a bit with the xxW xx numbering.
But if you fill in a good brand 15W50 you are on the safe side.
I use 5w50, but I got a high powered engine and need thin oil right from the start.(since I don't want to waste too much time running the engine warm during the first clicks and also drive very very fast often)
But if I am honest with myself, I could do also with a lower Temp spcs.

That are my 5 cent
