hehe, gotta be fake, cuz his head would have smacked the steering wheel unless he was expecting it, right?? :confused

it happens often with vw's since the reverse is right next to 1st. they do have a safety thing that you have to pull up on the shifter in order to put in reverse but they're broken on most vw's i've seen/driven in. my best friend owns a 90 corrado and a 94 corrado and used to have a 93 corrado. both the 90 and the 93 had that switch broken and it would be easy to put in reverse at a red light.

My first thought exactly.

Either that or he slipped his clutch pretty hard on the launch... or it could just be a nutless 2.0 gti. :rolleyes
