hey i was wondering what is your opinion on which motor should i put on my Ek???

LsV ls with b16 head with Valve train done
H22 with B series tranny
or any other options Don't Want Boost Or K series

have a budget of like 2000 or 3000
let me know....
ls/vtec isn't in your 3k budget so thats out h22 into a civic... maybe if you plan on doing the work yourself...

k24 swap is your best bet unless you want to go with a b18b or c.

Is your budget JUST to do the swap, and then you'll make it fast and fun later?

B18C1 would be the easiest to get done in that budget, and you should have some cash left for bolt-ons.

All depends on labour charges if you aren't doing the work yourself (sorry for the Canadian spelling of labour...deal with it:hehe).

H22 with h2b, or B18C5 is still in the mix if you make sound financial decisions. I think the LS/V is still in the mix too....but a B18C1 swap is always better than the LS/V, so not much point.
i think the ls/vtec is to much for his budget

Depends on what power you want.

The B18B can handle 300whp on stock internals; you don't have to change any major parts. You just need to change fuel delivery components, and spark. Then it's all in the tune.

For the street, 250whp is really sweet on a small fast spooling turbo. But most people like to take it to 300whp because it's higher lol, but you usually can't get the power down anyways with street tires.

A 300whp Integra can run 12s at the strip on fully stock internals, with good drag radials, and a great driver. The smaller the turbo, the faster it will spool, and the more fun it will be on the street. Most people buy the turbonetics T3/T4 60 trim kit that makes 300whp on pretty low boost levels because it's huge....but you don't have any power until like 5000rpm.
^^^ I read in team integra that it could handle 320hp safely. But he's right most people do under estimate 250whp on a light weight car just becuz 300 is a bigger number. But an Ls integra with a small gt28rs turbo VS an Ls with T3/T4 60 trim the one with the smaller turbo would be wayyyyyyyy more fun to drive and get a quick boost of power :D
