Hey, I was wondering what the best way was of taking out and replacing the Green dash led's with blue ones.

I originally tried with cryogen's method of soldering iron and rocking the LED out of the hole, but i ended up screwing up my circuit board cuz it's so hard to get it to come out clean

I read that someone clipped the green LEd's off and then soldered the blue ones on.

is that the better way? how can you solder the blue LED's on tho when there's only like 3 mm of space between the LED bulb and the circuit board?

Hey Hankishin,
how did you convert your left knob light to blue? the center console and right knob use normal bulbs that you can do this to:

however, the left knob uses a different type of bulb... how did you put an LED into the left knob?
