i have a 00 civic si and i recently bought a gsr block to install. would it be more effective to turbo charge the b18 block/b16 head (if so,with which internals?) or just boost the entire b16 setup? why? i appreciate it guys
the GSR block would be better to boost because it has a larger displacement, producing more exhaust gases that will spool the turbo faster. using the b18 block with the b16 rods would be desirable IMO, i'm a datsun guy so if it's possible to swap rods between the two use the b16, they have shorter stroke, making it a quicker spooling turbo once again. good luck, hope this helped.
